London, the majestic and populous city is a meeting point of cultures and a celebration of glamour, grace and extravagance. The grand city of a great empire spanning back to the time of the Romans is the largest city in Europe, boasting a population of about 7.3 million.

London today, is a dynamic blend of contemporary and classical, of vibrancy and serenity, of raw creativity and propriety. See grandiose palaces from a time before ours, experience romantic sceneries alongside the world-famed Thames and if you're lucky, catch a glimpse of the Queen herself.

Here's an immense scene, bustling with activities from theatrical performances, musical and art festivals, street shopping to refined dinners and high tea, it's a culture capital not to be missed. Whether you're planning to take a panoramic tour of the city on the London Eye or ride the popular double-decker bus.

Throw yourself into the historical attractions and uncover London's history, from museums to landmarks to pivotal structures! Don't forget to stop by the Buckingham Palace and see the palace guards. A trip to London would not be complete without paying a visit to this monumental scene. Brimming with exciting things to do, it comes as no surprise that it perpetually a visitor's paradise – all year round.

Always wanted to visit London? Here's your chance. We'll be opening flights to London really, really soon! If you'd like to be the first to know, leave your details in the portion below.

Thanks for the update. Also understand 286 seater A340-300 being used with 30 premium seats. Y is 2-4-2.

Prices look very good - March flights £285.00 return incl tax. What will be interesting is to see how Malaysian Airlines play this one especiallly as KL-HLR is one of their premium routes !

I priced it up earlier tonight and was getting 198 quid incl tax from UK.

The premium economy seats they are showing on the website are the same recliners as those used on the Oz routes which are configured 2-3-2 but 30 seats would seem to indicate 5 rows of 6 (2-2-2). If they are just recliners then China Airlines ex Amsterdam is probably just as good, if not better.

Thanks for the info, have just looked up the Air Asia webpage to check dates. This will be good for me as I`m near Stanstead.

Also have worked out that will be able to book a "round robin" tickets and do stopovers in KL then Singapore then on to Bkk for about the same as a Thai economy flight to Bkk.

Perhaps this will make Thai look at their prices.

Manila,Ho chi minh,and Bangkok

I know I can go via KL to all of these

but would only be interested in a direct flight.

Air AsiaX will only fly to it's Asian hub (KL) from Europe. Understand if STN-KL is a success then

flights ex STN will become 3 x daily with additional routes Manchester and Dusseldorf to KL.

He Who Dares ......... and all that. :banghead

I've just booked up for a quick trip back to UK in March as I'll be in KL with my truck beforehand anyway. The total cost for everything I need came out at just under 1k GBP.

The picture being touted at the moment is that of the XL seats used on the current KL-Oz services. However, the aircraft being used on the London route doesn't go for its internal fit until January and their site shows a typical lie-flat/flatbed configuration for the A330/A340 (2-2-2) rather than the recliner layout (2-3-2) used on the Oz services. Hopefully, I'll be pleasantly surprised at what they come up with.
