I thought I finally settled on a room at this place and wanted to reserve a room this week but all of my e-mails go unanswered. I have contacted them through their website 2 times and from here once and still no response. If they didn't have such favorable reviews I would have already scratched them. I did get rates on Agoda but wanted to try and go directly through the hotel.

 

So does anybody know how to get them to respond to an e-mail? Anybody at the hotel I can send an e-mail directly to? Or should I just say F__K em and find some place else (i'm leaning toward this)

Dont know if you tried this email, fo_renaissance@lkpattaya.com, when I was in contact with the hotel about an amended booking all the correspondence came from this address, think its the 'Front Office Manager' Hope this helps.

I had the same problem, both with email and with the CARD notification here. When I sent it with the CARD, it went to the Metropole instead of the Renaissance.

 

 

I read your post from Nov. and thought you were trying to get rates for LKRenaissance but the rates you posted were for Metro.

 

Anyway what e-mail did you use to finally get a response. You said you e-mailed Tony.???

Yes, first I emailed the Metropole and finally got their rates. Then I tried getting the rates for the Renaissance using the same method, but I got another reply from the Metropole when the email was sent to the Renaissance. I haven't gotten a response yet from them.

Thanks for the info. I guess if I want to stay there I have to book through Agoda.

They responded to me at the Lk Metropole, but the rate was 2000 a night. When I emailed back about The FLB rate they said 1625. Agoda is 1540. Go figure.

 

 

Agoda rate doesn't include tax.

 

Was that a standard or a studio room for the 1625?

I had same trouble with "Metropole" last year,and despite enlisting MM's assistance (query at reception) still no reply! Have had same problem at another in same group,seems like they have an appalling record in this department!

One reason suggested is that whoever is supposed to be looking after this area is no rocket scientist and rather than ask for assistance as this would entail "Losing Face" the E-mails are quickly deleted! Seems reasonable Thai Logic to me!

They are not the only place I have not been able to get a response from....

Every place I have tried to contact would be considered to be more of an up-scale establishment.

I guess they are not hurting for business after all.

True, they are definitely not the only place that hasn't returned emails sent by both contact list on their website, and by direct email. Hard to spend money in a place that won't reply to your inquiries.
