Haven't stayed, but have read in the past that they want a joiner fee which is surprising considering it's location. It's located directly opposite the PP massage joint between Buakaow and 3 rd RD.

I remember viewing their web-site a few months ago,and it did look very impressive, but not cheap for the area, and certainly out for me when factoring a joiner fee! No excuse for that apart from greed!

I stayed there last June with two other boardies. They didn't ask for joiner fees. Is this a new development?

I have a review and pictures in this section on Villa Panalee.

I had heard about the joiner policy shortly after it opened which sounded insane to me. Apparently they came to their senses considering they are not located near the beach and probably had many vacanices due to that policy.

mate stayed there last october and they charged him 500 baht. One day he had a ST and a LT and they slugged him both times. He moved to Marina house, just down the street a few doors, similar prices/decor/pool but no joiner fee.

I was looking at staying there last year. I emailed them. The response I got was if you book the room as a double no joiner fee. So if you go the cheap charlie route to save a 100 baht you get hit with joiner fees. Personally a stupid policy. You pay for the room, they still have to clean it. And if there is a minibar chances are the BG will devour half the snacks and drinks. It always pays to know the guest policy upfront. It also doesn't hurt if when emailing the places and they email back with a joiner fee requirement and you decide not to stay you reply. "Because of your guest fee I will stay somewhere else. Your hotel not bargain"
