When I go to the site http://www.pattayaphotoguide.com/ I don't get the street guide anymore just a black window. Anyone else having problems or, even better, know what going wrong with my connection?

I've tried numerous times Martin. It must be a software issue with my connection so I've contacted the photoguide to see if they can suggest what might be wrong.

Sounds like you need to upgrade or update Flash Player Ver 10 at Adobe.com

I have a cable modem and my connection is pretty fast. I just loaded the page without a problem. The picture screen is black, though, until the page fully loads.

 

Maybe you just have a slow connection.

OK for me, on a not-so-fast Thai connection.

Did you click on 'Map' with the same black-screen result.

If you are using IE7, try Mozilla Firefox, you will be glad for several reasons.

Thanks guys but no luck. I'm using IE8 and a ethernet broadband connection so not particularly slow. I have Flash 10 too.

What I have noticed which may be the same problem is that I can't watch some video links. The video plays but I only get the sound and a black screen. Seems like same same to me.

Well, if you're sure your connection is OK, then try Firefox or Opera. Or even Safari. Anything but IE. Then, make sure you have the necessary plug-ins.

PS Have you tied emptying your cache?
