Never stayed here but it does look ok from walking past and was told its ok, anyone stayed here who can confirm its good ?.

The Website is limited with info but is the Wifi in room ? or only common areas only ?.

Rooms look ok but they always do on a website  its also Soi 13 so i guess noise and particualy early mornings wont be a problem, don't think there is any construction close by.

In November last year there was some construction noise from the inn of the golden crab next door. But not early in the morning, although 10 Oclock is early for some. Probably finished now. Well I could hear it from the Sandy Springs. (same same). I was thinking about staying there but at the time I was smoking then and they are definitely a no smoking place. Even the little bar on the street frowned on cigarettes. Can't fault the location.

It is a nice little place.

I stayed there a couple of years ago. Rooms are small, plain. But clean and well kept. My memory is there was a safe in the room. Do not remember any noise problems.

Pool area is nice, small. Nice little restaurant and bar area.

Management friendly and helpful. Guest friendly. Security does not check ID's if that is a problem for you.

My only complaint was the in room wi-f. It was somewhat 'spotty'. I make a lot of internet phone calls and download files doing business. The signal would drop suddenly, resulting in dropped calls, etc. For me it was not acceptable. For the average guy who just wants to check email, surf the web a little it probably would work fine. Managers told me some rooms worked better than others. Were full so unable to change rooms. There was a router antenna close to my room. I think they just had a overloaded system unable to handle the traffic. Perhaps they have upgraded since then?

I stayed there last year and at the price was OK in the off season. All that Big Dicus says is true and I have no issues. It is plain but then the position is as good as you will ever get in Patts so you balance that out. Give it a try for a few days as I cannot recal that there was any better deals for extended stay.

I Have stayed there twice now and have enjoyed it very much, alot of swiss french stay there , nice setting and well located, the rooms are a little plain but good water pressure and very clean with good beds, friendly staff and a very good restraunt, I found the wifi ok which is free, no noise apart from the odd drunk coming home late, standard room 980 and they wont budge, so staying somewhere cheaper this year.

Me too, they are cute ladies. There is one in particular I'd like to enjoy. I agree the restaurant is great as I eat there a lot when in Patts but I always stay at the Sandy Spring.

The no smoking post is news to me. I'm a non-smoker but its my observation that the place always hosts half a dozen or so old French guys who sit and talk and chain smoke endlessly.

  • 1 month later...

Stayed 5 nights, paid 980Baht per night, there's no doubt better value for money around but rooms here are basic but comfortable, the shower has plenty of pressure, WiFi was also a good signal in the room i had and free, location is good, staff are friendly, its quiet at night and more importantly in the morning.

So gets the thumbs up from me :D

Rooms are all no smoking which again is a plus, hate checking into a room that's had a hard core smoker in it for a few weeks as the small can linger for weeks after and even i enjoy a cigarette now and then you can sit outside your room and puff away, each room has a couple of chairs and ashtray outside next to the pool area which is also nice although a bit rainforest jungle like during the rain.

Food is good and yes some of the staff are stunners, can think of 3 that are 9,s, all very friendly and helpful but not available.
