Having problems with my keyboard at home. when I type d I get dw, when I type c I get cs when I hit ctrl it types 2. If I type e it drops to the bottom of the page and the next letter takes it back up to the top.

 

had the board checked and its OK ran virus scans but nothing there and its intermentet

 

any ideas??

have you spilled anything on it? Behavior like that can be a sign of a degrading chip in the keyboard itself.

 

try unplugging it for over 10 minutes, if it doesn't work still,

 

try another keyboard and see if that solves the problem. then for sure you know the keyboard is no good

What type of computer is it?

 

I had similar on my Dell Studio laptop. The fix is to unplug/disconnect everything, remove the battery, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, then put it back together.
