Mobile Phone - Advice needed

Recommended Posts

Last trip to LOS got a Nokia N79 for a little over 11000bt.

Very similar to N85 without the slide. So far happy with it and still finding new things about it.

Also bought the chinese made 'fake' N98+ touchphone in TukCom.

Was under 4000bt, 2 batteries, dual sim slots and a TV that works quite well. Would make an excellent affordable phone for the teelak.

I am now using a Nokia E51 that was repaired for 300 baht. I got a little water in it from Song Kran. My next phone will be a Nokia E52. It has the very best battery life of any phone on the market. It has a standard 3.5mm audio jack and can charge with the USB connection as wel as the charger. It is around 10,000 baht.

Got my unlocked quad band cell phone from Tiger Direct ($110 and under $120 with shipping). Got 1000 minutes on a prepaid plan from T-Mobile ($110). Everything works as advertised.

I am looking forward to having a phone when I travel overseas now.
