Residence Garden - Outdated?

Recommended Posts

Hi All

I am planning a trip for early next year to Pattaya ... Could anyone inform on the Residence Garden - specifically, looking at some of the pictures I can't help but thinking it looks very dated - is this the case? I have read only good reviews on this hotel (and I must have read about 30 reviews) and this is persuading me to get booking, but I don't want to stay somewhere that reminds me of my Nan's house?

Thanks.

stayed in may, and it was very nice.. almost no one at pool which is nice. it's not like you have to impress anyone in pattaya.. not outdated at all.. but i'm a yank and we are known for not having any taste.

Hello 00mlc; What aspect of the Residence Garden is, in your opinion, "dated" ?

There are loads of pictures of this place on the board, and am curious as to what you are getting at.

FWIW. Many boardies on here take this place as their "stay" of choice. It's very civilised, hassle free, and for the Pattaya Pages price of 1450 per night, for what is essentially a self contained one bedroom apartment, very good value.

P.S The girls love it too ! :allright

I stayed there once, very good hotel, not dated at all, seperate living bedroom area, superb vulue for what you are paying, be sure you book it through this site though for your discount.

I just posted a thread about this in the main area. This is a beautiful small hotel. No question about it. But the mattress and couch cushions are too thin. Six years ago there was nothing around the hotel but that is slowly changing.

If you have never stayed there, you need to put it on your next place to stay.

I've just booked my third stay 1st trip stayed 10 days last year three weeks and have just booked a month for Nov. They appreciate return business and have got a great deal better than the rate advertised here. Sure you may find some where more central more plush and with a softer bed my only gripe. But overall a very good place with no hassels what so ever
