Sometimes it can be worthwhile to look at flights from England. Use travelsupermarket.com and it will allow you to do one search for flights from all London airports, Manchester and Birmingham to BKK. Prices quoted will be sterling and then you have to arrange your own flight with Ryanair, Aer Lingus or BMI to and from the English airport. I've done this on my last couple of trips and its worked out usually a couple of hundred euro cheaper than booking with Club Travel or E Bookers from Dublin.

Far too risky using 2 unconnected airlines to get there. There are loads of cheap flights from Dublin in september. I would not go via Heathrow because of the long lines at security and immigration. I hope you fellas realise that it pisses rain almost everyday in september in Pattaya .... Just like Ireland

I booked with netflighst from Heathrow for 360 quid. Got a return flight from Dub to London for 30 quid with ryanair. Got 8 hours in between flights so long enough to get from Luton to LHR and to get a few beers down me neck.

Good price, but not direct I presume? I was thinking of going through Heathrow but

didn't fancy the extra flight.

No have a 2 hour layover in Abu Dhabi. Not bad I reckon can stretch the legs for a wee bit and have a pint. Breaks up the long flight.
