Thinking about staying somewhere different and don't mind not having a pool. Has anyone stayed here & would you rec it? Is it girl friendly?

i have not stayed there myself. but you could always have a look on trip advisor for a review.

 

other than that i'm sure there is a BM who has stayed there that can give you more advice.

I stayed in August. The room was nice. My one complaint was the shower went from cold to hot to cold to hot...almost impossible to adjust.

 

The owner is a bit of a Belgian grouch but no real complaints there.

 

Rockhouse is a few doors down as are 2 or 3 other places.

I stayed at the Pasadena about a year ago. No complaints and would recommend.

I'm staying there in April on the strength of a friend who stays there every time he goes to PTY. He speaks very highly of the place. The deluxe rooms are 1500 baht a night.

ive stayed there before and will say its ok ....

BUT i checked out early because...

rooms are small tiny in fact in jap motief to make look fancy..

other problems for me were .....

there is no view out the windows you are litterlly one metre away from the building next door thats your view...

the bathroom door is a slider made of rice paper so you can here farts and smell poop male and female when some one goes even with door closed..room was like a cave....

location kinda sucks just because dead end part of the soi so all the bargirls know your comings and goings...

i will say the staff was very nice especially the night watchman as he used to rate 0 to 10 the girls i brought home at night...funny nice guy...

but for the price you can find much better and bigger rooms in that area......good luck...
