photo upload

i got some issues loading photos, i click the button to upload and it says its uploading, it then takes an age (3 mins+)

 

and nothing uploads.

 

ive got very fast broadband here in the uk, so it aint a connection problem....any ideas please?

If you tried it yesterday, the forum system was having problems. Try again and see if it works now. Sounds like you are doing the right thing to upload a file.

had that problem on facebook before, think you just have to be patient and wait for upload. (all to do with photo quality and quantity me thinks)

Good point. The OP might be uploading a high resolution large dimension file that takes a long time to upload.

 

Reduce your photo to 800x800 or so to shorten upload time and make it easier to render on the board when viewed.

Best to downsize all pictures to about 800X600 pixels for faster upload and better viewing.

I type my post in the window..... hit 'Add Reply', and I end up at the Forum List, with no post entered. It is happening about 50% of the time. The back button and a second attempt always seems to work normally.

I use 3BB here in Thailand, and it's having lots of problems for the past few days... Page load timeouts, DNS failures.
