Tonight's the night and I am so looking forward to the beautiful game, Everybody knows that Barcelona V Arsenal would have been the ultimate final but such is fate it will most likely be Bayern Munich V Barcelona.

It is such a pity that Andrés Iniesta will not be playing tonight but at least the fixture will be graced by Andre Arshavin, Cesc Fabregas and the mercurial Lionel Messi.

It was so good to see Bayern Munich win against Manchester United last night and dispel the myth of the supremacy of the much hyped English premier league (Jose's Inter Milan team had already kicked moneybags Chelsea out earlier)

Messi is the nearest we have got to a football god since Diego Armando Maradona and if there is any justice in the world he will win a Champions Legaue medal. a World cup medal and be crowned World footballer of the year in 2010.

Sorry bud but I couldn't help but find the above post a bit funny, Messi best player in the world is the only part that is maybe true imo. Arsenal weren't expected to make the final and Barca v them isnt't what the ultimate final should be. Barca yes but arsenal are nowhere near what they were a few years ago, Barca v Man U, or inter or chelsea maybe but Arsenal no.

 

 

And imo the premiership is the best league in the world, you only have to look at the last few years in the champs league to see that. the last 3 or 4 years the last 8 4 of which have been the english clubs, besides this year of course.

Unfortunately, like Maradona, Pele and Eusabio before him, there will be several guys in the forthcoming World Cup who will be making it their priority to stop him playing - if he manages to successfully negotiate his way past Inter Milan without any serious harm. Hopefully, he'll get better protection from the referees than the three aforementioned "greats".
