When I lived in Jomtien in '08-'09,I used an HSBC debit card for 5 tickets w/o an issue.Have you tried another card?

Bangkok Air was so much more expensive when I was there.

I have been using them for abut 2+ years and never had a credit card problem. Cebu Pacific is a different story thought, always had problems early on tho seems sorted now. I still have my fingers crossed when I push the PAY button.

I can use my SCB debit card to purchase tickets, but I cannot select my seat when I do. If I try to select a seat I cannot use debit card. Go figure.

I would prefer not to have a seat, just a ticket. It makes it much more likely that I would be bumped up to business, or first class if all the economy seats are filled.

I had a friend that had that issue also.He simply finished the transaction, logged off, signed back in and chose a seat.
