I have decided that the next time in town I will have a look around and book at the time. Having said that I looked on some of the internet sites today that give you "Last minute" rates and there was some great bargains right now so what it will be like in June I hate to think. Can I suggest that boardies looking for a bargain check out these sites and share any super deals with us. For me Asia Rooms had the best deals.

I just booked Flipper Lodge for 7 nights next month via their website.They've got a "stay 7 nights,pay for 5" low season rate,works out at 786bt per night.

Summer Spring in Soi 1 has stay 7 get 1 free,works out about 1000 a night for quality superior room,I believe the tv finally has some English channels now as well. good quiet location within easy reach of everything.

Hi there Paully. Here is what a Tripadvisor writer had to say.

 

Stayed at the Summer Spring Hotel several times, never a complaint from my side, staff are ok, but dont challenge them for something from the obvious - checkin/out.

 

The rooms are spacious, new/clean, and a great value. located only 50 paces from the beach on Soi 1 makes for a great place to launch for the beach or all night parties down the strip. Then when you make it back to your room with new found friends, there is no issue from the staff to continue your activities in the privacy of your room. No added/hidden charges/fees. Then the next day with that hangover you can sip drinks at the roof top pool/bar with a great view of the Pattaya bay. I have recommended to many friends and they too have recommended to their friends. Hopefully this 'first review" brings others the same opinion.

Have a look at the new nikom court on soi lengkee i stayed there in feb for 750 a night very clean and quiet.

Canterbury Tales Cafe/Guesthouse has good rooms, I have stayed there last 3 times in Patts, they do a good monthly rate for rooms with large bedroom and nice Lounge, free wifi Internet, big fridge, a/c, dvd player, balcony, shower/toilet etc. settee/reclining chair, desk and fans.

I pay 10,000 per month

I have to say that the Canterbury Tales looks fine and as I eat breakfast there and bought and exchanged three books it is a place that I know and think is in a great position.

As a total change however I chose to stay at the Sabai Inn and for a superior room at 855 baht a night this was IMHO a good buy.
