I just purchased my ticket the farthest in advance I have ever done, but the price was the best I have seen in years that didn't involve a long layouver in Korea. I am leaving on February 24 SFO-BKK on China Airways for $860 RT. I think it is a good deal. What do you think?

Only time will tell but it appears to be a good price. Those potential $$ you saved can be spent wisely in Patts.

Looks like a good price to me. The cheapest I paid was back in January for $817 from ORD. That was with a long layover in Korea.

I thought you flew out of the Midwest.

I like China Airlines. They are often the best deal around. Nice flight attendants too!
Yes agreed, they are very sexy, and I watched them defer 2 drunked up Brits from further drink for hours as I sat behind them!

I had to keep sneaking off to the galley to get mine.....

I do, however I like the arrival and departure times of the Asian airlines, so I add a stop on the west coast.

Yes that is a good deal. I paid $1249 all in ticket for my trip just two weeks ago that I booked very last minute out of SFO. But if you're wanting to go sooner that next year then that savings of a couple hundred bucks really isn't worth it.

I like China Air, except that their older 747-400s SFO-TPE have no personal TV screens.
