My strong opinion is the US advertising industry should fire everyone they have, and import whole Thai agencies and start producing good, watchable commercials. Not every commercial is good, but every good commercial is Thai compared with US ones. There are also some excellent European ones. The Thais consistently walk away with half the really big awards at international award ceremonies for commercial excellence. The US companies typically gets "best fade to black" and "best use of an American-football endorsement" as encouragement to keep trying.

 

Also horror movies. Thai ones are really, really scary, US ones suck.
