Nope. Definitely just not the same... There are subs, and then there are Philly-style hoagies. 'Difficult to explain the difference. You just have to have had one to knowappreciate the difference.

By the way, just to complete this topic, after a decline in service hours this fall, Subs N Suds has closed its doors. The building is now for sale.

Looks like they've moved the operation to Soi Post Office. The fact that the place was run by katoeys seemed to put the typical, somewhat homophobic, Yamoto clientele off ! :-)
