Hi Guys,

How are you all? So a little about me to begin with..My name is Chris, 24 years old & from Australia. Orginally half Spanish half Indian...weird mix, i know!! :D

This is my fourth time in to Thailand, but going to be the first going to Pattaya. I usually love spending most of my time in Thailand, either in Phuket or Bangkok as Pattaya has just never appealed to me..(For some reason all i picture is old men with little girls..) :gulp

My main concern is, getting the hotel spot on!! I want to be right in the middle of everything, well doesn't have to be exactly in the middle but some what close by & a balcony would just make it perfect!! =D

At the moment, i am leaning towards the Bella Villa Prima Hotel as it's quite well priced & the location doesn't seem too bad from what i can gather. That is the reason i am coming to YOU experts, to see if i can get any insights at all?

I will be in Pattaya from the 25th of August till the 1st of September & just want to chill out, drink & well...you get the drift, i am sure  If any of you are out & about around that time, please do let me know & we might just catch up for a beer & i can see Pattaya from an experts eyes lol!!!

Well i hope i get some reply's to this post & any help what so ever will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read this & i look forward to hearing back from someone soon!! :)

Much Love,

Chris

You might want to check out the Sandy Spring hotel. It is on Soi 13 which is in between a lot of the action. If you want to be right in the middle of the action check out some of the hotels on Soi 8. (Flipper or Eastiny)

Hi Guys,

It really depends what you want and what price you wish to pay.

Pattaya with the baht bus system, your in reach of everything within minutes for a very fair price.

So, you either pick Soi 2 area(beach road) with the Sabai lodge or Summer spring etc

http://www.scandibar.com/hotel/summer-spring/

Soi 7 / 8 not bad but can be noisy

http://www.flippergroup.com/

or my choice last Xmas and already booked for this Xmas is the Sandy Spring soi 13

I stayed at the Sabai lodge for my first trip to Pattaya in 2006 and loved it, 2007 i stayed at the LK Metropole

in the Soi Bukhoaw area

http://www.lkpattaya.com/index1.php?hotel=LKMetropole

others like the pattaya bay resort in that area behind second road

http://pattayabayresort.com/default.aspx

I now book through the scandibar http://www.scandibar.com/hotel/ as they will take a booking by email without

credit card details (on trust) and you get a free beer voucher for every day you stay and use it in their bar(only

for booking in hotels they list above)

There are so many great hotels in and around that your choice is massive.

I went to Pattaya for my first time in November. Let me tell you what a fantastic holiday I had. I have been all over the world but Pattaya takes some beating for anyone who is single of any age. I went with a friend who had been there a few times and it made the holiday so much better knowing where to go, what to do, and what to avoid.

It can very intimidating and overwhelming all the things you will see and experience and all girls throwing themsevles at you takes some getting use to. I am not fat, old, ugly, or bald, not that it matters here. I can get plenty at home, but my god nowhere near as stunning or as sexy as these girls.

Some of them range from perfect 10's to just mind blowing dreams. A must is a visit to SOI 6 better known as "SHORT TIME " street. But don't be shouting your mouth off that you have been or go there, not even the normal bar girls like to know you go.

Its one long street of short time bars with bedrooms upstairs of stunning young women. All for 500 baht, plus bar fine. Two places at the bottom of particular interest are "MANDARINS" and "MY FIRENDS BAR". The best two streets, where I actually stayed are SOI 7 and SOI 8. Rows of bars upon bars full of ladies all waiting for you and only 1,000 baht for the whole night.

And man did I have some long wild nights here and back at my room. Do learn a few Thai phrases especially compliments for the girls. Goes a long way, so does being polite and corteous.

Another absolute must is to visit a massage parlour for a Thai body massage. The experience alone is enough to make your head explode. There is about half a dozen in Pattaya, not hard to find so I suggest you type in a search engine on the net "massage parlours pattaya". And it gives you addresses of where they are.

I visited a place on 2nd road called "the coffee shop". Big white building. Wow, what an experience! I wont go into any detail, but a became a regular, and ended up seeing a girl from here. LIN number 249... well I hope this helps some of you out there. Got lots more to tell you. I could write a book just on my 2 weeks there and already booked my 2 return visits for this year.

Thats how good it is. Enjoy!.

Are you sure you are in Thailand? Over the past 10 years I have seen a very few that approach a 7. But, one mans trash is anothers treasure.
