Has anyone been having trouble with pattaya talk forum pages? Last two weeks I been getting a lot of (the Following page's have come unresponsive kill them or wait). Hit wait and no response have to kill them and start over.

I think it's possibly related to the links from Thailand to the USA server.

 

Yesterday, I got a lot of timeouts trying to access pattayatalk, flbbar, pattayapages (all on the same USA server).

 

I was chatting with a friend in the USA and asked him to see if he could access any of the sites, and he said all was fine.

 

Anyone outside of Asia having the same problems?

I did have the same sort of problems - pages kept timing out - on Saturday and early Sunday, but now it seems fine.

Yes, those were the days I was having trouble as well. The server was working fine, but the network seemed to be flaky.

Seems fine today.

 

A lot of times this tracks back to pixxpoor maintenance/update of the DNS service at the Thai ISPs. They do a LOT of their own DNS stuff in order to enforce the censorship. DNS is not for the faint-hearted, which a lot of the Thai ISPs definitely are. If they upphuock their DNS servers, even/especially the server lists, there sure are run-on problems from that.
