Not that i know of ,though someone will chime in soon if it can be done.

Consider the worth of obtaining a Thai Bank account. You can refill your sim via internet banking.

Sure can, beforew I set up y internet banking I used to get a mate buy top up cards and send me the numbers.

If you have a Kasikorn acct you can.

Alternatively you can do it via Ebay there are loads offering Credit on Ebay including me :-)

Dont use your Thai Dtac in the UK, it will eat your money.... When I hit the UK my boss rang me on mine, 1000b credit lasted 7 minutes.

Dunno bout loading UK voda onto it but its a thai sim card, its on roaming and you get reamed both ways.

When yuor roaming you will be connected to a UK operator as DTAC aren't in the UK Voda is the one in that area move to another area and you'll see O2 or Orange.

You wont be able to put credit on it as it's not a Voda sim you'll need to either do it from Thailand or online from your Thai bank account.

Last time I was in OZ (before I had internet banking) I had to put some credit on my 1 to call sim, I sms'd a mate here in Thailand to purchase a few hundred baht pre-paid cards and scratch them and sms me the numbers... worked fine, I was roamin in OZ with Voda as well.

My dtac phone comes up as vodaphone as well in Australia, I thought that was pretty weird as well.

yeah considering just how crap voda is in Australia I found it amusing my Thai 1 to call simcard actually performed better in OZ than my pre-paid OZ voda sim !!!

Is your thai card a pre paid or a billing one? as i believe that pre paid cards cannot be used to make calls but you can use them overseas to txt, both my thai and indonesian sim cards pick up either telstra or optus (cant remember which or maybe diff each sim) but can only send txt not make calls as roaming is not enabled on the pre paid cards

Mine is pre paid, yes I could call home from Oz on it no probs.

OK i might have to try mine sometime just to check but i know my indonesian one doesnt allow calls as i have tried and after checking with the provider was told only billed sims had roaming.
