was told of a good seafood restaurant down somewhere in Jomtien.

Known as = Leung Wang or Uncle Wangs.

 

 

Was told= It’s a beauty –right on the beach

 

Does anybody know of, or heard of this Restaurant?

Both of the Lung Sawai restaurants mentioned are excellent. We prefer the 2nd one mentioned in N3RGT's teakdoor link, and often end up there for the family beanfest (at my expense of course ). Be aware though that these 2 are particularly popular with Thais especially on weekends, and it can often be hard to get a table at the popular eating times. Thai prices of course

Not the 10 baht variety, but private hire will go (and pick up others on the way, of course). No idea of going rate from Pattaya, but max I would offer would be 200 baht.
