Traffic and driving from Pratumnak is a lot less dangerous than driving in Pattaya Central area. I live in Pratumnak now, and hardly ever encounter other vehicles when I am going home.

OTOH, when I lived on Soi Diana, at the LK Metropole, I was taking my life in my hands every night I went home down 2nd Road and up Soi Diana.

 

Pratumnak Hill is the absolute safest place to travel from in Pattaya, so I'd say that being on Soi 4 Pratumnak is not a negative at all.

 

FYI, it's light years safer than travelling from Jomtien on Thappraya Road.

There used to be quite a few accidents on the steep hill and bend around there, particularly when raining.

And the flyover was once a congregation area for the kiddy bike gangs.....

 

But I think riding the bike at night is always risky.....
