I agree that it is possible for MM to change someone's board name, should they request it and it is approved. It can only be changed by Admin, therefore it is possible to "have" your name changed, by another, yes. MM kind of confirmed that in his earlier post, but I am happy to repeat it.

Here is an account of the exact detail of the process that I went through in order to change my username

 

1. I sent MM a PM asking him if he could change my username from Mr Pastry to Gawd Elpus and explained why

 

2. MM replied to my email, and agreed to change it if I was really sure that that was what I wanted.

 

3. I replied confirming that indeed that was what I wanted.

 

4. MM then changed my username, which cam only be done using Admin tools.

 

5. I sent him a short pm to thank him

 

 

Now, if you are unable to understand any of that, please visit the Psychiactric Clinic at your local hospital - I believe the Thais call is "Bassaad" or something sounding like that. , if not then suicide is the other option

No, I asked for my user name to be changed on my behalf, since I was unable to do it myself

 

and yes, I do have something to hide.

 

My real name is Mr Reginald Pastry and I am wanted in several countries including the USA, for a number of offenses, including murder, rape, money laundering, armed robbery, bestiality and Jay walking. I recently discovered that a fellow board member is an under cover FBI agent and I was concerned that he might be on to me, so hence I have gone under deep cover to conceal my identity.

For the reasons stated above, next time go to Specsavers, you know it makes sense

 

You could also ask MM to change your user name to CUNT I am sure he would oblige and for good reason

For the same reason that I would not close one bank account and leave the money there and open another really. Much easier to keep the account I have going back to 2002 and just change the name. I will leave you guessing why, as it pleases you, but it is so simple, that you would be unable to work it out

No it isn't, you said yourself you needed to bother MM to do it.

A new account would be straightforward.

You regard the post count as some form of currency, a bit sad that sir.

You cant have two accounts here, apparently. Therefore I would have had to ask MM to cancel the existing account and then open another, rather pointless as folk would soon realise it was me, and busy bodies like you would start asking questions

 

My post count is irrelevant, and most of them are rubbish anyway. I also have nearly 40K on the other forum. It is sentimental value that it was 10.5 years ago that I first joined the forum.
