Dentist Recommendations

Hi folks,

 

I'm off to Patts in Aug and as luck would have it broke a tooth this arvo while eating an Easter egg!

 

Reckon I can hang out until I'm in Patts to get it fixed and was hoping someone could put me onto a good dentist in town.

 

I've already done a topic search but seems like the last real recommendations were about 2 years ago so I'm sure things might have changed since then.

When in Pattaya...I patronize a Russian dentist who, along with his Thai dentist wife, practices at "Ex-Pat Samile" on 3rd Road close to Excyte...I have found Dr. I. Yankum to be both professional and reasonably priced.

I had a cleaning at BKK Pattaya Hospital by an excellent female dentist who was recommended by a fellow monger from Brazil.Excellent English (her) and was headed to US for advanced training.I'll try to locate info.

I agree, having had both routine check-up and emergency treatment there, that Pattaya Bangkok hospital is better than any dentist I have visited in the UK, and about the same price as our discounted National Health dental charges.

Two of the most popular dentists with the expats are Dr. Aree at Pattaya International and the German Dental Clinic going up the hill to Jomtien. I have used both and recommend both of them highly but they aren't the cheapest in town.
