Hope this post is still on the board later today as it has somehow disapeared into thin air twice today. Wierd! Disapeared off the members bar, and also from my record of topics in my profile. This has happened once before (reemember mm?) and is a bloody annoying glitch. Any quotes appreciated!

How much to have 4 of these fitted to my tiraks 3rd floor condo unit?

Hi. Out of subject, but do you really need that at a 3rd floor?

Must be very depressing to live in this kind of prison... :allright

Apparently so, and it's a new built block out towards Sattahip. looked ok to me, but as ahe says "you not understand. In Thailand have many people not want to work. Just steal". They even knicked her gas and water supply pipes in the corridor before she had moved in. She had to replace them herself and have a lockable minature steel cage fitted to prevent it happening again. Also she won't put ANY furniture in, aprt from a fridge and a small fan until the steel covers are in place. I guess she is the best judge. Cjeers for the reply. Could be third time lucky here :thumbup

Unfortunately she is right. The thieving little bastards will steal anything worth ten baht or more. This is one main reason to choose a condo unit in a well lighted gated complex that has good roving security.

Fortunately condos are usually MUCH better than houses or townhouses. The little bastards frequently remove roof tiles to gain access. I once lived in a gated community and my house was burglarized twice in two years. I think the security guards were the thieves. They know who is home and who is going to be away from home on a trip or holiday.

Right! But did you have steel security panels, and if so how much did ytou pay for them? No security here as it is almost completely Thai occupied, but that is not the issue. The cost of said panels is. Thanks for your reply though, it was appreciated. And my thread is still alive! Yeh!

Topics in ALL CAPS are deleted as a matter of policy (when I notice them).

I'll give you a bit of time to fix this topic title, or it will go the way of the others.

I don't know what it is about Sattahip, my truck and bike (back box) both broken into up there. My water meter is embedded in concrete.
