Looks good, but...

Suggest black out curtains... and reliable high speed internet (and if you can have an encrypted port that would be even better)

... and you'll have a very regular customer...

To go with all of the above and what we already have, do you think FREE bike rental and FREE meals should be included in 550 baht room? :allright

Ditto .... nice as the hotel/rooms are, the curtains make it a non-starter in my book. :chogdee

The curtains are actually very thick as the "light" issue was my first priority.

It appears to be see through only due to photography, where in reality no light gets through.

For those who really prefer the darkness, we do have another type of room available, which has only regular size glass door leading onto the balcony(with curtains) so 200% no light will get through.

We do have 5 different types of rooms, but this thread is about the opening party :chogdee

Sorry, the OP mentioned ... "Pattaya Holiday Lodge is located on 3rd road and offers probably the best value accommodation in town at best prices

Our rooms start from only 550 baht per night, and we do offer weekly, monthly and long term rates which include everything. No more to pay", followed by pictures of the rooms.

If you didn't want people to comment on your rooms you shouldn't have mentioned them, or posted pics of them, in the OP. :allright

Thank you for your points and "criticism", though how can one criticize without actually seeing is a matter for another discussion.

Perhaps the title of the thread is a giveaway to the nature of the thread, ie the opening party, where people are invited to have drinks, food and see whats on offer and after all that, criticism would be more appropriate, do you not think so?

Thank you for your points and "criticism",

It wasn't a criticism, it was a comment.

But you expect people to book "without actually seeing". :clueless

You do realise this is the Hotels and Accommodation Section, don't you? There is another section for business owners to promote parties at their bars and gogos. :allright

Actually i do not expect people to do anything but to come to the party, hence the title "Opening Party!NEW Hotel-lounge bar-restaurant.ALL WELCOME"

I am sorry but i really am unsure if i can make it more clear than that

And please do forgive the newbie placing the thread in the wrong section, perhaps admin can move it to more appropriate section.

If there is anything else you like to discuss or comment on, please let me know so i can address it.

Do Baht Buses run along 3rd Road? If so, where do they go to, please?

Good question.

Sorry but can not tell you about the route on 3rd road or if they run regular. HOWEVER it does run on Pattaya Tai road and its only 10-20 meters away from the hotel.

The ones on Pattaya Tai run from WS to Sukhumvit road.

What are your actual rates? Like most folk, I'm not in town, but like info about good quality accommodation.

If that is correct, may I suggest you get your map amended.

The map shows the hotel to be about one-third of the way up Third Road from Tai to Klang, which is very considerably more than 10-20 metres.

If the map is correct, it is quite a long walk to a Baht Bus in Pattaya Tai, something which would be offputting to a considerable number of potential guests.

Thank you, i see your point. This map is from the business card, little hard to make changes. The one that will be on the website, will be much more clear and precise

Cheers

Your decision not to spend the money on blackout curtains is a perfectly legitimate business decision. Pretending that they are blackout curtains is odd.......

I also only stay in rooms with actual blackout curtains, but I support your right to lose my business in favor of the majority who don't care about it!
