is there a way of looking to see who has viewed your post that you put up

This is a public forum except for the Members area. Anyone with access can view and this access is not logged, why should it be?

As to the question...no, there is no way without adding a modification to the forum software. Addicts has such a modification, and I would like to have the same here, but we don't have it (yet).

May I ask why you think you need it?

 

Also, surely it would enable you to see only who has opened a thread, not who has viewed a particular post (which is what the OP queried)? And, of course, there is a difference between opening a thread and reading the posts therein!
