Questions on Thailand!!

Hallo! Everybody!!

 

I have some questions about Thailand which I'd like answered. To make it easier and more fun to answer them I've made them in the form of a poll/questionaire on another site. This link will take you there:

Now there may be a little bit of language or questions that could be considered rude or inappropriate. That's why I haven't put you all the questions here on this site, but instead on another site and server

 

The questions are mainly about Bangkok but I hope that some of you who have been there will answer the questions that pertain to Bangkok, and everyone else can answer the more general questions

Why would the members want to go off site to another site? This is the site that we read and post to. You are a new member and the first post you do is to redirect the membership, seems a little strange indeed? What surprises aweigh at that redirect? I for one will not take this bait.

I agree with fishingtime.  Larscharlie, learn this site, realise it has poll facilities.  I have no interest in visiting sites where you get bombarded with pesky ads etc.

Hi again, everybody!!

 

Well, first of all I mention in my post that the reason why I'm redirecting poeple is that there may be some language that is inappropriate for this site, which I thought was me just being considerate!!!!

But I guess that that tactic was not just stupid, but according to Fishingtime, it was also a very clever way of getting all you Little Red Ridinghoods to stray from the path and unwittingly skip straight into the Big Bad Wolf's commercial-den of internet horrors!!!!!!

 

 

Second of all I also admit in my post that my little questionnaire was originally made for Bangkok-lovers. If I wanted to make up a WHOLE new questionnaire directed at lovers of Pattaya I would have done so, and have avoided questions about Bangkok. Maybe using this site's poll-facilities (which I didn't know existed! Where are they on the site?)

 

So there it is! It's neither an add-scham or a way to lure people away from FLB!!!!! I'm just trying to get some answers for my questions!

If you're just trying to get answers to your questions, make the investment in this site, post some useful information and become a member. Then the language that is inappropriate is not a problem because it will appear on the closed members site. you should have a problem doing this if information really is the goal.

 

But if taking away members is then it will be a problem. I don't think we will see you on the members board but only time will tell.

I took a look at your questionaire and I didn't see any questions that were inappropriate for this site if posted on the members area, in fact most could appear on the open area.   Didn't answer because as soon as I land I'm on my way to Pattaya.  One suggestion on your questionaire,  I would change the cost categories from USD to baht to make it easier for the non US tourist to answer your questionaire and to reduce the range of  each choice.

Thank you for your feedback, Emil, it's just what I need to improve future polls!

 

As to the rudeness of the poll-questions I know they weren't bad ass super-nasty!

But I just wasn''t sure if it would be allowed to talk about prices for sexual services, for instance!

 

So I chose to play it safe, 'cause I didn't want the FLB-Master to delete my post for any reason!!

Sorry, about that if anyone finds that overly annoying, but remember: " I'm a newbie of the newest kind!" So please bear with me!!!!

 

As for the US Dollar choices to my questions instead of baht-choices I know What you mean, and I did find that out myself, but at a late stage in the creation of the poll, so I must admit that I was simply too lazy to change it!!
