GOOD PLACE TO PLAY DARTS

After a 3 year layoff(due to the us navy sending me everywhere but pattaya), I've started to play darts again. And since I'm fortunate enough to retire to Pattaya next september, are there any bar recommendations  where  I can play darts(steel tip or soft tip).  Also does the local cable televise the Major darting tournements???

there is a restraunt between soi 7 and soi 8 i think its

called mikes place or somthing like it they have a dart

board .and the girls that work there are quite good dart

players they are allways up for a game

There is a darts team at Raymond’s Bar, the first bar on the right as you walk down Soi Zero from Second Road. Just ask for Raymond, and I’m sure you’ll get a game or two. The team is made up of Thaïs and farang’s, and I think they would welcome a good player.

Raymond  sold the bar the bar a month back and no longer a darts team there.

 

Was told the team moved accross the road to Jack's bar.

I was over there in June for a week. I play in the UK and made friends with a guy who "owns" a bar in SOI POST OFFICE. We played two matches against other bars in the same week and had a great time - some of those Thai girls are pretty shit hot. The bar our team played in was The Pleasure Dome. Its run by a Scottish guy "Alec." Holiday peeps and expats are welcome to play darts there. All nationalities and a nice community feeling.

You can almost always find a game of darts at the Rising Sun Pub on Soi Yamato.

 

Good eats there also.

 The bar Splinter is talking about is part of a league that usually plays every Tuesday and Thursday, Pleasure Dome, and the Londoner are on soi Post Office, not sure which other bars are inb the league right now but either can give you information. If there is no league the girls are pretty good and fun to hang with. Hope this helps. Cheers, B-Man!
