GulfAir from Europe to Bangkok

Anyone has flown with GulfAir from Europe to Bangkok?

I flew Gulf air back to London last December, having decided to stay on an extra couple of weeks. I had to have a stopover in Bahrain(only a couple of hours). Apart from the Airport at Bahrain looking more like a building site than a departure lounge, the inflight service was good and i would not have a problem flying with them again. That said my preferred airline is Eva airways  ::)

Business is bringing me back to BKK next month so I tried benztravel.

I live in Manchester area of UK.  Benztravel gave me a return price of £535 incl tax.

 

I usually use trailfinders and they gave me a price of £478 incl tax. Thats on Emirates.  Good planes and economy class have individual movies etc.  I cannot get a direct flight to BKK from Manchester, I have to change somewhere.  On Emirates I change in Dubai which is 7 hours from Manchester so the journey is broken into two easier steps.

flew with gulf last year time in bahrain adds a couple more hours to journey not very nice food in terminal but grat raffle  & good coffee gulfs food v. good and plenty of free drinks not a bad red wine either reasonable priced tickets & flifgt times to from heathrow better for anyone living away from the southeast but if you can fly thai

went with gulf 3 times but a few years ago now i only use emirates nothing wrong with gulf but emirates is far better 8)

Went with Gulf in November. London-Bahrain each way had more room than in Bahrain- Bangkok legs. Chatty guy beside me on the way out which was a godsend in Bahrain stop. Not so lucky on way back and it was like watching paint dry. Only consolation was I could look forward to an exrea inch between seats. ::)
