STD poll, 2nd attempt

A while back I tried to conduct a poll to find out how many people have gotten an STD via oral sex. It turned out that some people thought the only way to view the poll results was to submit a bogus entry, so in the end, the poll was pretty useless.

 

I'd like to try the poll again, except this time the poll will be conducted via this message board's private message system! This should eliminate the accidental submission of false data. Don't worry about anonymity - of course I wouldn't post anything personal about anyone. However, if you want to share your own experience with an STD here, please go ahead as long as you stay within this board's guidelines for "appropriate" posts.

 

Here are the poll's ground rules, once again:

1. Have sex with women ONLY

2. Have either given or received oral sex in Pattaya

3. Regularly use condoms for vaginal and anal sex

 

If you do not fit these criteria, please do not participate in the poll. Also, I realize that this poll is far from "scientific", but please answer honestly.

 

Also, in case "STD" isn't an internationally recognized abbreviation, it stands for "Sexually Transmitted Disease".

My take

 

1 - no ones gonna fuckin answer this cos the requested info is too private/confidential to be given if the person is identified via his PM.

 

2 - no condom blowjobs will frequently yield Chlamydia/ Gonhorrea if practiced frequently in Pattaya and occasionally another STI.  My guess is that if you have say 6 different partners and have no condom blowjobs from them all at least twice in a visit you will get Chlam/Gon in 1 visit in 3 and Herp/Hep/Syph 1 visit in 50.  This is deeply unscientific I grant you but my main point is that getting Chlam/Gon is much more frequent than imagined.

 

3 - no-one in Pattay uses dental dams in my opinion.  99% don't know what one is.  Dental dams are usedby STI-aware dykes in San Francisco.

Hey i-like, chill out man!

 

I respect your motives in doing this and increasing knowledge but I was just saying that people probably would not do it for the reason I said.  It was a tongue in cheek comment and not intended to cause offence.  I should have put some smilies in.  Sorry (PS - the spelling error that you parodied was on purpose and its colloquiall nature was partially designed to reflect this light hearted-ness - maybe I am too subtle).

 

I know you put a lot of effort into your research and you were trying to be scientific about it but sad fact is people probably won't acommodate it.

 

Without a doubt there is a vast underestimate of the dangers of getting something from BBBJs.

 

I think you should continue with your quest but put the ordinary poll back up with instructions.  Most people know how to use these anyway

PaulC - thanks for making your intentions clear.... at the time, I really thought you were bad-mouthing me and my attempted poll. I think it's worthwhile to ask the questions (which is why I asked them) but now I realize that it may be an exercise in futility.

 

BBBJ's are awesome... but I hope nobody out there takes home anything unexpected as a result.

An option you might want to consider if your going to be with one lady for a period of time is take her to the Pattaya International hospital for a checkup.  Around 2000 baht for tests and consultation with doctor, all in less than 2 hours.
