The map link quoted by Gabor has the location (map reference A) badly off - they even state that the location is 'approximate'.

The green pointer in http://maps.google.c...&num=1&t=v&z=15 is close to the restaurant sign and main building.

The road makes a right-angle turn away from the beach right at the restaurant. They also set up open-air tables along the beach road.

Coming south from the north end of Jomtien there is an entrance to a parking lot about 50 metres before the restaurant.

We had a family dinner there on March 10th. It was really busy at 7pm on a Saturday. We even had to wait for a table, or rather the wife located

a table that was about to check bin and staked it out until the previous customers departed. The service staff was not quite up to it. For some

reason they started trying to deliver us dishes we had not ordered after we had already requested the bill. :clueless The cost was about 800 baht for 4 people,

including one large Chang for me while others drank only water. The Thais appeared happy with the food, and I did not find anything wrong with it, either,

although I'm no expert on seafood. This was our first visit to "Uncle Sawai's" - during previous visits to Pattay we have been trying other beachfront

seafood restaurants north of this one.

Hi,

You use " right" twice in this sentence. If the restaurant is where I imagine it to be it would be a left turn. Maybe a right angle left turn ? :clueless

Visited today between 2:30pm - 3:30pm.... We were the only ustomers in the restaurant, the tables were removed from the beach part, only inside seats are available. Before we left the restaurand an other company arrived two farangs with two elder women.

In the middle of the high season.

Bored waitresses playing on their mobiles at the tables and minimal attention on us. Anyway all looked like somehow retarded....Don't really understand what and how we want to order.... When we ordered separately the same food we received it on one big plate and mysteriously the 2 portion of the shrimp cakes inluded 5 ( odd number ! ) pieces of cake. We want to order a cola... " Sorry no cola " ... and other waitress: we have no cola only Pepsi. Of course the rice arrives as the latest item....one by one and slowly... When we already eat: " Sorry no rock lobsters "... No mood to wait again for the new orders...

Though the most of the food was OK we ordered...

It was delicious, some kind of chili sauce with squid and shrimps

DSC_0129.JPG

Also delicious, chilli sauce with some curry taste

DSC_0130.JPG

This squid food was totally tasteless, though the water under the squid was spicy and good taste...

DSC_0127.JPG

Shrimps with garlic... it was tasteless and so dry we had to add some sauces from the other foods

DSC_0128.JPG

Tom ka talay... it was really good, but not enough spicy for me... khm... yes, because we asked it not too spicy... plenty shrimps, squids, fish in the soup, no any complaints

DSC_0131.JPG

The fried rice was huge portion ( two on the picture ) and plenty shrimps, squids in the rice...

DSC_0132.JPG

The fried fish was tasty, but a little bit overfried... ( the bad thing, we still don't know what king of the fish, as in the menu written only: fried fish with garlic ) despite of the plenty garlic, somehow zero garlic taste.
