I'll be arriving on March 15th and need to find a place for two months....Any hot tips on where I should look? Prefer not to stay in a hotel if possible. Thanks

Check out Sky-Top Hotel on page two of this section. I stayed long term for 8K per month in room 101. I had to pay the electric. Great location. It's a nine room guest house, friendly staff, high speed internet, etc. Tell Pete, Denny sent you. It should be good for a discount or a laugh. ;D  www.skytoppattaya.com

 

Yensabai Condo has been written about many times. Good place to stay. I think I paid 400 per night.  www.pattayarentaroom.com

 

Your comming into low season. The hotels will discount for long stay.

Website as of yet? I think this place has been around since the sixties. If it hasn't a website now, I don't think it's going to happen...

 

Good location... The room I saw needed updating. IMO.

No, I don't need a pool just somewhere clean and comfortable and a decent location....Only thing I require is of course air cond and American shower and toliet! I would also like internet if possible......Thanks

I looked at several places about 18 months ago--while I staying in Pattaya a few months-

 

Here's some ideas-

 

Chada Court-Soi 10 (BTW Beach Rd and 2nd Rd)

1BR, furn, 15k B/mth not incl utils

 

La Fontaine Apts-end of Walking St.

Large studio, new furn, 13k B/mth not incl utils

 

CK Terrace-Soi 4 near Beach Rd

1BR, new furn, 13k B/mth not incl utils.

 

Center Condotel-Off 2nd Rd overlooking the Wat

1BR, furn, 8500B/mth not incl util

 

And Inn of the Golden Crab is 16k B/mth (low season) for a ground floor apt. Not incl utils

The Natana Garden View is about 6 months old, has a pool , in room safe and costs 10k/month + utilities.  Location is off the beaten path as its located between S.S. Villa and 3rd road, north of Centeral Rd.  I think you would be best off to stay in a hotel for 2 days and check out some of the places referred to you before you commit for 2 months.

  La Fountaine is probably the best deal you'll find on an apartment on the path. The farther off the path you go the better deals you will find. Places like Nantana Garden and Nova Park you will either spend alot of money on motor bike taxis or will need some transportation of your own. Cheers, B-Man!

Check out Vinai apartments on soi Vinai near 3rd road and 100 metres from Buffalo Bar. They have a website and it looks ok, only 350/night , monthly rates also.

I'm trying it out in April.

Your getting a little lazy if you consider Nova Park off the path,  you've been around the TG's too much   ;D  its less than a 5 minute walk to 2nd Rd and the ass end of the Big C.  Also in the same area as Nova Park they have just completed another apartment complex.

I fogot to mention the Inn House has a good monthly rate and its located between 2nd Rd and Beach Rd.
