Stayed there last year when I couldn't get my usual room in Jomtien .It had just been built . Moderate size room . TV had UBC/HBO . Bathroom was the shower type with the plug in the tiled floor i.e. no bath . I prefer this layout but sometimes I did long for a good soak in a bath.

 

Pool ok but small . The bar I recall shut very early but there was plenty of shops for replenishing the fridge stock. Plus a few bars opposite .

 

Reception didn't ask for ID from tg were also a good laugh. Last time I paid cash 500 bt per night as they had no c/c facilities(low season).My mate just booked out yesterday . He paid 750 bt by c/c

+ 2% cc fee.

 

The location was actually quite quiet as it's on a road off the main road . 1 minute walk to 7/11 , internet cafe ,bars , baht buses & motorbike taxis.

 

Basically good , cheap accomodation close to a lot of bars and a cheap fare away from the main strips.

 

My only complaint was that every three days they asked to be paid up to date for the room . The last thing you need when you're rolling through the door at daybreak with a tg. The bank used to be a good 20 minute walk away. I'm sure the 7/11 probably has atm now all the rest seem to.

 

If that's what you want I would recommend it.

I walked by there early December and the place looks good from the outside.  They were building either another hotel next to it or they were enlarging the Opey.  It was close to completion then so it should be finished or nearly finished by now so you shouldn't have any noise to worry about.
