ThaiRegional Airline Promotions 1000 bhts

Recommended Posts

Now that what i call a good promotion total cost £20 / 1000 bhts to fly from Khon Kaen to BBK ,this is the total price also no extra for luggage.

3 flights a day.

Could fly to BBK ,then taxi to Patts , 4 hour from my house to Patts cost just above 2000 bhts, depending taxi price.

Caveat emptor. I remember they were meant to start ops to Hat Yai - it never happened. If you check BKK's real-time departures/arrivals, there's no mention of any of their scheduled flights to the likes of Chiang Mai and Phuket.

Was under the impression Thai Regional Airlines is a 'charter airline' with a separate shareholding to Thai Airways. Please corect me if i am wrong.

Well they have a schedule......

Yes they do have a schedule and was in Hua Hin last week when i saw one of their planes depart for BKK however as i said

earlier are they not a separate Company and have no connection with Thai Airways ?

I think Dr Mick is confused with Thai Smile.

I can't see how Thai Regional Air will be allowed to start low-cost ops from BKK when Air Asia, Orient Thai et al have just had their arses moved to Don Mueang. The Hua Hin service is a small commuter thing - scheduling A320s to Chiang Mai, Phuket and Khon Kaen is a completely different ball-game. It'll be interesting to see how it pans out.

Well lets hope it works out ok as i have just booked return tickets for 3 people Khon Kaen to BKK for 6000 bhts ,for 6 six tickets i think great, round about 180 USD.

So will be going for my March holiday in Hua hin ,flight then taxi ,should take about 4 hours compare to the 9/10 hours using the bus service from Khon Kaen to Karat ,then its another bus from Karat to Hua Hin.

They were due to start Chiang Mai and Phuket flights on 12 December - they never happened and all flights have been cancelled up to 24 December when they may start a limited service.
