Anyone flying Thai from London May/June

I am booked, flying out June 7th, returning June 23rd, so I am lucky at the moment, but they can get fucked in future.



Flights Cancellations in May and June 2013

Please be advised that Thai Airways are cancelling the following flights in May and June 2013.

Cancellation of both TG917 and TG916 on 15, 20, 22, 27, 29 MAY and 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26 JUNE 2013 (days 1 and 3)

For passengers holding tickets issued for travel on the above dates/flights, the following ...

I too will be flying in June,but am unaffected by these particular cancellations,so alls well.

 

The last flight out I took from LHR was seriously underpopulated,maybe 30% full.Looks like Thai are removing a few flights from the schedule to match supply with demand.

They have done this before..... I suppose you have to at least be glad that they gave you some warning.

What were the options they gave you? If demand is low, there might be some cheaper flights available if you can get a quick refund.

 

Some carriers can be a bit sneaky and do it closer to the time, so that you cannot insist on a refund.
