Do most hotels in Pattaya have people who speak English answer the phone 's for booking's? sounds like a really stupid question hey LMAO . Think of staying at Eastiny because flipper house has only 1 room left in the first week of march

Most hotels have someone who speaks a little English but the chance of being misunderstood are high.  It's good to get a confirmation by e-mail or fax so you hace some proof of your conversation.

At the 5 star hotels and places like The Residence Garden, they speak perfect English.

I have received email confirmation of my booking but still worry something can go wrong. What if I turn up and they have lost my booking. It will be late December high season and hotels would be full. There will be 5 of us.Are the hotels usually ok with email bookings?

I've never had a problem, but I always bring the copy of my confirmation and send them another email a few days before I leave home to remind them.

Spooky,

I now stay at the Eastiny hotel instead of the Flipper's because the room are a little newer. I can't belive the hotels in Pattaya are filling up that fast for March. Here is the email for the Eastiny Inn.

eatinyinn@hotmail.com

The manager name is Mark Nookham, and I have always made my reservation by email.  They get back with you in about 2 days. The only time I had to pay a deposit is for this Christmas/New Years. Even with a confirmed email, I always give them a call a few days before I leave, just to make sure they have the reservation current.

I always make reservations at 2 different hotels just in case. Then I reconfirm my first choice 1 or 2 days before arrival and then cancel the backup. However, I have never had a hotel in LOS screw up my reservation.

Emil,

I didn't even notice the date. Not only was posted in Febuary, but a year ago Febuary in 2002. JAULS had to dig way down to get this one back to the top.

Thank,
