:)I've read  a few dated reviews on this hotel, but i was wondering if anyone has any recent views on the Baybreeze hotel.I've E-mailed them and they've offered me a room for mid nov/beg Dec for B500 per night. THE DRUID.

Hello Druid.

My favourite Pattaya hotel.

Have stayed there 6 times in last 18 months.

The most recent, 3 weeks ago.

Nothing much has changed.

The worn carpet on the lower stairway has been removed.

Some carpet in rooms worn.

Lift still slow.

But bed still large and comfortable.

Good size bathroom with tub and toilet.

The maids are nice.

Only occasionally does security  keep guest's Id.

Last time, they checked my girl's Id the first night ( but she was so small she only looks about 14, but is 25). The following nights, no check.

There are 3 laundry places within 50 metres of the front door.

In my view, the best value and positioned hotel in Pattaya.

Good luck.

Where is Baybreeze?  Any website/contact info?

I'll be in LOS Dec 20-Jan 11 and hopping back and forth between Pattaya and Bangkok and was hoping to find a Pattaya place in the 500THB range that I could just book for the whole trip even though it would only get used half the time.

The Baybreeze is a few metres off Second Road on Soi 11, which is a few metres  after the Apex Hotel.

A 7/11 on one corner, Siam City bank on the other.

A beerbar complex is right opposite the soi.

Phone: (038 ) 428383-4.

Hi as an old timer in Pattaya the Baybreeze is an all time favourite with me

Perfect location just off 2nd road but an oasis of calm from the mayhem outside

Just across the road from the corner beer bar and near to Mike and Kiss can walk everywhere from there in central Pattaya

OK recently the worn carpets were not so nice but great rooms great staff  very guest friendly  take as many girls to your room as you want

Last few times stayed in the junior suites  great value at about 800baht

Great cheap breakfast as well

Last time hadn't stayed there for 2 years but staff still remembered me from before especially in coffee shop

Highly recommended  if thay have renewed the worn carpets and lift

Cheers

You gets what you pays for.

No real digs but don't you guys think an extra USD 5/10 per day is worth it, rather than worrying whether the room stinks or the carpets are worn ?

All (and I mean all, whatever anyone says are guest friendly).
