Marathon Sunday, Buddha Days Monday & Tuesday

The marathon will cause havoc in traffic on Sunday and the big Buddha days on Monday and Tuesday will stop the sale of alcohol. If like other years, most bars will be closed those days. Either stock up in advance or allow your liver to make merit.

July 19th 2015, Sunday's Marathon:

 

 

 

Nota: You can see people running on both directions

There are in fact 3 races:

- Marathon (42.195 Km), started ~4AM

- Half Marathon (21.1 Km) started ~5AM

- Quarter Marathon (10.55 Km) started ~6am

 

These firsts pics were taken at about 6:20am

and most people are amateurs running the short 10km one.

 

The first pros (Kenyans ) already finished the full Marathon !

This small hill to Bali Hai Pier was a killer for many already tired runners.
