I have stayed here 14 times and cannot fault it.

Sounds good! I also read some positive messages about this hotel in the hotel review section. How about vacancies at the end of August-beginning of September? Would it be wiser to make reservations in advance?

i only have a business card of the hotel.You could try around the sites for email.

If you book they try and charge slightly more that's why i always just turn up.

P.s. leave the maids alone,if you take one you will get stuck with her or find presents in your bed when you next take another girl back.Not from my experience but a mates.

If that hotel is full, nearby on Soi 4 is Mike's Beach Resort.  I stayed there last month for 16 days for 600 a night.

I mean no disrespect to Simon or the others who gave good reviews.

I was there 5 weeks ago for 4 nights and glad to leave.

Paid 600baht with small breakfast which I had to negotiate.

Did not find the staff friendly, except the maids.

I did like the 2 little dogs(naturally) that sometimes  were on duty guarding the safe deposit boxes.

Room on 5th floor okay but not the 2 single beds pushed together. Nor the  all in one shower, toilet.

Did like the balcony.

I feel there are better value hotels around.

Moved to my favourite Bay Breeze Hotel at 450baht. Better value for me and excellent position.

Yes, Bay Breeze has a small pool on 3rd floor.

Admit though, not as good as the one at Charming.

But I rarely use hotel pools.

I was in Pattaya last month and it looked like the 2nd ship was done, however there are 2 more still under construction.
