i no it depends on what your doing put help me out guys how much a day spending money will i need just for beer and food do you reckon or in baht..i was thinking £50 a day..will that be enough

That would be 2500+ baht...certainly enough for beer and food, unless you eat at a 5 star restaurant each day.

How many beers would you drink in a day? It sort of depends on that too.

beer and food 2500 baht is about right ,

However if you need, beer, food, barfines, sex, massages, buying some touristy crap, doing some touristy crap , etc etc 2500 is about 1/2 or 1/3 of what you need

It all depends on what you eat and what you drink and how much. You can eat Thai street food for less than 50 baht a meal. A cheap beer in a beer bar will cost less than 100 baht. On the other hand, you can also spend 300 baht or more on a pub meal, and beer in a go go bar could be 150 baht.

it depends what mood im in really with drinking but a reckon maybe 10 bottles a night and a couple in afternoon.lol

Beer ranges from 50 baht in some of the outdoor bars to an average (IMO) of 140 baht in the gogos.

So, with 12 beers, your cost could be from 600 baht to about 1700 baht, depending on where you drink.

If you eat 3 Thai meals a day, you might spend 900 baht without shopping around. Depends on what you eat. Non-Thai meals are generally more expensive, but still you should get by without starving.

I reiterate then. 2500 baht/day for just beer (even 12 bottles) plus food, is definitely doable.

Always a difficult one to answer.

Beer ranges from 70 pence a bottle to over 3 quid depending on where you want to drink.Similar

with food, you can eat Thai for around 1 pound a meal or english food 2 quid for a full english

and 3 or 4 quid for an evening meal.If you then want steaks and to eat at higher end

retaurants you will pay English prices or close to.

Personally, and bear in mind im here for 7 mnths i dont spend anywhere near 50 quid a day,im

suspecting tho that youre going to be here 2 or 3 weeks,my guess is you will drink more than i do.

I would say if you arent a massive drinker of want high end food,50 quid is more than enough.

Thats the sensible stuff over with.

You could easily get carried away with the ladies, end up buying many lady drinks then 50 quid may

be just pin money.

Over the past 8 yrs going there 2/3 times a year (yes it does get addictive) and in the latter 3/4 yrs going side trip to AC I have gone from my frist trip of jaw dropping amazing to second trip within 4 mths to crazy and buying lady drinks and falling for sob stories to now a days pleasing myself and having a great time on a much smaller budget. Not through choice though just necessity to feed the habit of regular travel. Your budget of £50 is as most said dependant on your habits and also I will add your age! This I say as well if you're game for multiple women in the day you will be accommodated at a price! I know when I and I am sure others here are the same as we seem to be creatures of habit! I had a prick that just did not know how to say no when I first arrived! up against the bar toilets anywhere ! (ah the memories) Anyway nowadays less of a budget does me I am like the old bull and the young bull ! the young bull saying lest run down the field and bull those 2 cows, the old bull saying lets walk down the field and do all the cows! I now look for the happy hours I never was a gogo man unless with a group where it was a bit of craic for us and the ladies,I just don't like the noise and smoke in some cases. So I eat at places like Robins nest, a café in Soi Lengkee which I forget its named after a place in England and in Neeroys I give the food carts a by ball unless the banana pancake one. Oh and also in the food market in central festival downstairs and in the small café on soi bukahow just down from Bua barber and before the soi down to new plaza. I hire a scooter at 100 bhat a day and my friend and I travel everywhere on it although ditch it at night in favour of drink! You can enjoy Pattaya and more often if you spend wisely and I don't mean being unhappy. So enjoy your first trip !

For me one of the secrets to enjoying Pattaya is to ensure that whatever I spend I have a back up plan. Inevitably people spend more that they budgeted for and for me it is having access to extra funds if I need them using internet banking and a debit card. It used to be a reserve stash of a $US 1000 but with the ease of use of credit/debit cards and the net you can come up with a plan to back you up if the worst happens.

Your senario is like the fruit pastels advert on the telly where the young lad gives the guy a sweet and says , i bet you cant stick that in ya mouth without chewing it , so the guy sticks it in his gob and says no problem , within 30 seconds he's chewing it.....! Let's see what happens to you after

1 " Day ".... 1luv
