Apparently he got a good arse-kicking from Ronaldo and Messi in the Ballon d'Or. :thumbup

He didn't get an arse-kicking in the Ballon D'or. The vote was Ronaldo 27.99, Messi 24.72 and Ribery 23.86. All of them deserved to win. Arsenal must be happy Ribery won't be playing tomorrow, as he is still recovering from the operation on a burst blood vessel.

Talking about arse kicking , that's exactly what Barcelona did to Man City tonight............ :D

Yep. I'm not sure that picking a side to "stop" Barcelona rather than go offensive on them ( at home anyway) is the way to go. But City are out of sorts at the moment and are missing Aguerro. I reckon he was more interested in getting a "nil conceded" result tonight, but of course that goes dreadfully awry when you give away a penalty, and lose a player to boot.

Hope Arsenal do better tomorrow.

Arse-kicking , arse-licking - it's only a difference of a couple of mm on my leyboard.

Why isn't Bastian Schweinsteiger getting a game these days?

Have you forgotten how to google? Schweini is happy to get paid sitting on the bench. Guardiola thinks he has better options than Schweinsteiger playing on the left. He is probably right.

Why was your boy Özil allowed to take that penalty? He and Neuer were born in Gelsenkirchen and went to the same school. Neuer could read him like a book. :thumbup

He might not be that happy when when Joachim Löw also decides his best position is on the bench.

My boy? I've never been to an Arsenal game in my life. Been to plenty of Bayern games though. :thumbup

CT, mate. Then there is at least one thing we have in common. We are both fanatical Bayern supporters. :thumbup If Pep Guardiola lets Schweinsteiger play in a few Bundesliga games, and if he does not suffer any more injuries and proves himself, then Schweini will be playing in the World Cup in Brazil, together with Arsenal's captain Mertesäcker, Özil (not your boy) and possibly Podolski as well.

Unfortunately, I'm not a fanatical Bayern supporter - I was always supporting the opposition ... Liverpool, Everton, Hearts, Arminia, Düsseldorf. Got to admire them as a club though ... I remember the first time I saw them against Arminia and Sepp Maier was doing his warm-up routine in front of Block Vier at the Bielefelder Alm - an incredible athlete and it showed how far advanced Bayern's Sports Science was at the time.

I previously thought he was a great player, but no wonder RM played him as a sub. He is a half hearted player.

The Arsenal and Man City games were ruined. They are over already. imho, both English teams played well, and had a chance, until the sendings off. Although some blame has to go to arsenal for letting a bad penalty taker, take the pen. I think he had missed the last two pens he took.

Him and Podolski ... pair of lazy bastards.

Maybe Arshavin paved the way!

Sanogo - I thought he played well, but who the f**k is he? And why was he picked before Giroud?

Why not play Rosicky?

imho, Wenger got the tactics wrong.

Saw part of the Spurs borefest this morning. Co-incidentally there was an exact, and I do mean exact, situation occured as happened with the Man City v Barcelona penalty and sending off. This time around though, it was a free kick outside of the box, and even more importantly, a yellow card for the defender!

It's probably fixed since FIFA took over the Ballon D'Or.

The way it's set up a household name will be the winner for the next few years at least. Messi is a greater player but was plagued with injury last year. Ronaldo only won a cup of coffee at starbucks last season.
