Any Restriction on Back-to-back Visas

Recommended Posts

The answer is probably somehere on the board, but I couldn't find it.

A friend made me nervous by saying that there are restrictions on issuing back-to-back tourist visas by consulates/embassies. Granted her knowledge was third-hand, but thought I'd check.

To clarify, if I obtain a three-entry tourist visa, then go back and apply for another after the third segment has ended, will the consulate require a gap in between? This is with specific reference to the U.S.

Haven't found anything on the consuate website, but still want to make sure.

Thanks.

Are you obtaining your first tourist visa in the USA?

The reason I ask is that there is often a restriction applied by consulates in Thailand adjacent countries...... ie if you are trying to get your third consecutive tourist visa in Vientiane.

Always best to check with the local visa agencies who are up to date with the current situation.... quite often another tourist visa can be obtained by travelling to another place.

Either way I am confident they can help you out with some option..

My friend came up against the same thing not long ago in Laos, Vientiane

Your first triple entry visa from your own country then you will only get double entry 2 times in Vientiane and you then will be knocked back.

I have the same problem...

I'm told to go to hong kong but now I'm doing visa runs to Cambodia and i've just done my last on on my current visa and the for the future i'll be doing monthly stamp runs as cost of the stamps is cheaper than flying off some where else and paying for flights accommodation spending money and visas and still not get one..

my girl is from udon and the next time we visit we will be going into laos and i'll try to get a double entry visa

Here's a link to a thread i've just posted
