An afternoon down at Sattahip

Well I’ve got to say I’m fed up of been trapped in the condo while songkran plays it out.

So again this morning I woke up and I just couldn’t spend another day dodging water guns or trying to drive the truck in the center of pattaya.

I was also fed up of looking at the 4 walls in my condo so I had a look on the web to see what we could do as puang will just do nothing all day then she gets grumpy by the end of the day.

I came across the Turtle conservation Centre south of Sattahip in the old air base on the coast.

We had a good morning and puang was amazed to see the large turtles and all the small one waiting for release.

This place is well worth a visit and there’s no entry charge at all..

I would say we spent around 4 hours with travel and worth the visit if your getting fed up of been in pattaya.

I also took some shots on the new pattaya water park as we drove past so you will see the progress, it looks good..

Yes its was very enjoyable ... at first i didn't want to go but we both was fed up of the pattaya madness and the 4 walls...

 

i was glad i went there to see how they take care of the turtles and release them back into the sea.

I don't know..with some of the stories I've heard about the Thai Navy, they might be dining on turtle soup.

I went there in March. Very nice place and a beautiful spot. God clean fun :)

 

Had dinner at an outdoor restaurant very close by, on the shore. Excellent food, highly recommend it.

Looks like a nice pleasant day out, and free to enter, which you hardly see in the Pattaya metro area.
