Way over blown. The fine doesn't hurt, but the 4 games without Brady and by far the worst are the draft picks. Losing picks hurt a team.

Tend to agree. Without Brady the possibility of starting 0-4 goes up and though draft picks can be hit or miss, not having the chance certainly hurts long-term.

Turns out he had his cellphone destroyed with over 10,000 messages..during the investigation..

 

With the evidence being released now, he got off lightly..

I agree about punishing Brady but the draft choice and monetary punishment to the team and its ownership is excessive.

I think they got off way to lightly. What's the message here? Cheat and get a slap on the wrist?

I thought the message was "win at all cost".

The penalty is light. The deflate was all that they were caught at, the rest of their cheating goes unpunished. They will still make the playoffs this year, if it were college they wouldn't be allowed to play post season.
