Displayed prices are for multiple nights. Check the site for price per night. I see hostels starting at 200b/day and hotels from 500b/day on agoda.

Why don't business owners display opening times?

Recommended Posts

I have mentioned in the Pizza thread that Bronx Pizza had a piece of paper stuck on the window saying 3pm opening but when I went there at a later date at 3pm the note had been removed and it was closed.

Today I took a walk to Khao Talo after looking at the updated Darkside map.. Rod's place was closed but with no indication what time it opened. If it opened at noon I would have hung around but how did I know..??

AJs had a lovely sign saying that they had a happy hour from opening to 5pm... but what bloody time opening??

Seriously guys stick your trading hours so that customers can see..!!

OH! and don't fall into the trap of putting it on the door then pulling the shutters down so no bugger can see it out of hours!!!!

If they put the opening hours up the might feel compelled to actually be open at those times. It is a commitment, not something a lot of business owners in Thailand seem to show to their customers.

You are correct of course therefore none will be " Destination" businesses other than regulars in the know... I mean Khao Talo doesn't have a lot of footfall ...

EDIT = And of course these are just a couple of places that have only recently pissed me off..... no idea what other trade they are missing ...

You'll be asking them to display drink prices next ,

My very thought as I read the OP. Used to be they were stuck up on walls, or a list was supplied (not much use to me in the darkness). Quite the mystery these days........
