Steve,

When I first read your post I thought "Biman? Nooo!!!".  Then I thought of the alternative of Xmas and New Year in cold, wet and windy Manchester and it begins to sound not too bad after all!  I'm sure it will all be worth it when you get there!  8)

It looks, even now, that flights to Bangkok from 18 Dec onwards are pretty much just not available at anything other than the full economy price ... the same goes for returns up to 6 Jan.  :-[

I think that anybody contemplating visiting LOS during this period would be well advised to get their arse in gear and look to book up ASAP.  IMHO.

Regards,

Tom

hi robert

i have  flown  biman once  before 2 years ago.

fraid no alcohol on  board  as  it  is a muslim  airline

when i was on  a  man  in  front  of  me  asked  for  a beer and  got  it  in  a brown paper  bag so  no  one  would  see.

stops  in dacca which  is  a  bit  basic,it only  had 2 transfer desks.

but  as its a case  of  that  or  nothing i will  persevere  with  it.

ill just  keep thinking  of  that  first singha in  the wunderbar.

im staying  at  the jomptien boathouse on  jomptien  beach  road from 22 nd december till  5 th  jan

so   if  anyone  fancies  meeting  up  for  a  beer  that  would  be  good

Hi Guys,

My friend and I managed to get flights for £570 each from Heathrow leaving 19th Dec with Gulf Airways, having to stop in Bahraine but only for 1 hour.  I've never been on Gulf Airways before, anyone used them?  Are they any Good?

;)

Cheryl and I have recently booked flights from Heathrow on the 13th December with Aeroflot via Moscow with a 2hr transfer. Return date 5th January.

We paid £475.00 each with Omega travel.

We have travelled with Aeroflot before they are not brilliant but they were the only company still with availability.
