Well posted and attractive, but in fact Monger's Law applies in Patts:

The throb of the knob + the heat of the meat, provided the urge is constant.

Obeying this principle has enabled me to resolve many a mathematical conundrum.

We did Bushcraft's law of motion at school and it also states that, 'If the heat of the meat equals the throb of the knob then the angle of the dangle will remain constant.'

Ours was slightly different...

 

The angle of the dangle = the heat of the meat x throb of the knob, providing the urge remains constant
