Where can I find good vfm German food

I know several places in Pattaya where I can get good vfm food.

 

I used to enjoy some of the German food at Backer Peter in Nakhlua but I passed the place where it used to be and it is no longer there.

 

So - where can I get a good schnitzel or goulash soup or similar hearty gasthaus dishes?

Anton sold out to Kiss, however he opened a smaller restaurant up the adjacent road - Soi 16 (I think) Soi roylang. Head up there as far as the police post, then turn left then right and carry on about 100 yards, it's on your left.

Is worth a look - but I I mostly prefer "personal" recommendations

Das Wirtshaus is a very good German restaurant for home made food.

It was build up by Gerhard (Soi 31).

A little difficult to find, even if it is located close to BigCE.
