Does anyone know the rules on importing food into Thailand?

I have a friend there who likes honey.I would like to take her some!

Don't suppose I'll get any serious replies to this post!

I really wouldn't worry about importing honey, or any small amounts of tinned/jarred foodstuffs. I doubt you would find even 5 people on the board, that have been searched by customs inbound. I certainly haven't in 30 odd years. Fresh produce (Black puddings etc  [smiley=puke.gif] )often get "pinged" in the UK outbound though ! The local honey (sold in old Mehkong bottles!) around February/March time is good. Suppose it's seasonal.  ???
